The Church Planting specialisation focuses on how to plant and develop a new Church or revitalise an established Church. If you are sensing God’s call to start a new church, or be part of a Church planting team, then this is the stream for you.
At Axx we focus on building a dedicated church team that will grow the Church together. You will develop your leadership skills, biblical knowledge and understanding of how to develop your team spiritually and practically. The team will have the capacity needed to reach across cultures and into communities.
The Church Planting specialisation is ideally suited for people who are called by God to do something new.
According to Billy Graham Center Church Planters, those who received basic training in church planting prior to launching a new congregation, saw more new commitments to Jesus than those who did not. Clearly, we have a case for investing time in church planters before they start working on the field.
This Certification of Church Planting equips ministers & potential ministers with the foundational biblical, practical, theological skills & knowledge to begin and establish a new Church.
The Advanced Certification of Church Planting equips ministers & potential ministers with the foundational biblical, practical, theological skills & knowledge to begin and establish a new Church. You will examine various models of Church planting, like new pioneer churches, satellite churches or developing an established Church. You will also learn how to build and grow a highly motivated team.
The Licentiate of Church Planting qualification is specifically designed for Church Planters who are seeking to establish their Church and build strong organisational leadership skills. It is for those who are seeking to be equipped in advanced preaching, biblical and theological knowledge.
All students must start with the Certification of Church Planting. Once you have graduated from the Certification of Church Planting you will be invited to commence the Advanced Certification of Church Planting and then the Licentiate of Church Planting.
