Certificate of Bible and Theology is the complete introduction to the word of God. It combines the basics of understanding the Old & New Testaments with the Theology of God and the Trinity.
This qualification is the perfect starting point for a deeper appreciation of the Bible. It is a structured program of study that guides the learner through the basics of understanding and interpreting the Old and the New Testaments.
This certificate is an introduction to the theological concepts of the Bible. It helps the learner understand God and the Trinity. We learn who God is, the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. We also learn about humanity and our intimate relationship with God.

I have learned the importance of reading introductions, knowing who wrote the books and their background. That knowledge gives me a better understanding of the book now.

I have leaned how history and culture of original audiences affected the understanding and appreciation of a biblical passages. Now I also have understanding and analyse according to the biblical passages.
I thank Axx for I have learned not to take one verse and make a sermon and I am done. Now I know the importance of knowing the background or history of some verses before preaching about them. Actually I now know I have to read the whole chapter not one verse and preach about it. It helps me preach with understanding not to give people my opinions.

In addition to being an avid steam engine enthusiast with YouTube channel ‘symphony of steam’, Tex is an authority on Christian worship.

I thought this course was very thought-provoking. I especially liked the lesson about how we need to proclaim the good news in a different way rather than just washing it down. It really resonated with me.
Knowing and understanding God’s plan from the very beginning of the book of Genesis and after the fall of man is so amazing. God by His divine and master plan makes the church and the individual that trusted Him to be partakers of His something big. It was a very interesting course, i learnt a lot about being the church and the importance of discipleship and caring for not only the people outside the church but the individuals in the church. There were a few statements and things i didnt believe, but for me that was encouraging because it meant that i was forming my own opinions on things and wasnt just piggy backing off someone elses view of the bible but the the truth from the bible. thankyou i learnt many things.
I have been a Christian since August 1988 and held leadership roles in Zimbabwe such as Elder / Deacon . Currently we are base in ACT and our Church Reformed Church International Australia has been launched JULY 2017 and we have small branches in ACT , QLD, WA and Sydney. As elders/ deacons we are caring the gospel forward since no resident minister of religion has not arrived yet. The knowledge gained in this course will empower me to teach and preach the truth from the word with The Holy spirit leading the way . This course introduces the theology of God. You will explore the relevance of theology, the Trinity, as revealed in the Old and New Testaments, the Person and Work of Christ and the nature, gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit.
DJ is Associate Dean of the Faculty of Theology, and Head of the Theology Department, at Alphacrucis College. DJ comes from a background in the Christian Non-Profit sector, most recently as the Executive Director of Advocacy at Compassion Australia. He wrote his doctoral dissertation at the University of Aberdeen on the child in the thought of Karl Barth, and his wider teaching and research areas include systematic and historical theology (especially Karl Barth and Dietrich Bonhoeffer), as well as mission theology, public and political theology, and child theology. He is the co-editor of Theology, Mission and Child: Global Perspectives (Oxford: Regnum, 2014) and has published various book chapters and journal articles.
Jeremy has been in pastoral ministry for over twenty years. He and his wife plated the church they lead on the Gold Coast (Australia), Eikon Community, in 2006 and transitioned the congregation into a missional expression of church. He has served on various denominational committees and has been teaching in bible colleges since 2011. He is studying towards his Doctor of Ministry and is interested in sacred space and contemporary spirituality.

Blessed day my Axx family, there is a secret that l learn about “Trinity& Together” in the Bible ,in Gen1:1-2/John1:1-3/Col.1:16-17)timity-Great ion,through Him and for Him.we see Trinity in creation because Gen1-1-2 clear talks of God and the Spirit being involved, while both John and Paul in their writings go out of their way to make it absolutely clear that *everything *was created through and for Jesus. Although the title is not something that would generally interest most people, this course was jam packed with theological goodness that was easy to understand thanks to the teachers.
Really helps anyone understand the broken state we find ourselves in as humanity and why we need Jesus!
I am really enjoying every lesson and sometimes I want to stop. The whole lessons in this Theology of Humanity brings more understanding of our brokenness and need of God. And also knowing our part and to bring God the glory in every area of our lives. About the Jeremy, he explained well and also there is power point in every lesson which a big help to my study. Created in the image of God, as no other form of creation. As we minister to anyone, we are ministering to another bearer of those created in the very image of God. Quite impressive, very humbling to bear His image.
As we are made in the image of God, God is reflected through us to reach the world with His loving Grace.
God involving us in the creation process by making us in His image and to be His image bearers throughout His/story future. That we are His representatives to this world is quite remarkable, considering how messed up we can become. Gods redeeming grace is so amazing.
