Let me very honest and say, that I was very skeptical about what kind of teaching I would recieve. I was so surprised!

I have been in the field of youth ministry, arts and entertainment for many years. Most of my expericence have been with At-risk youth/the homeless. While working with various programs, most of which were faith-based organizations, I never encountered the kind of training and devoution in preparing children to grow into spirit filled believers, not even in children’s church. I’ve always imagined it was possible, but simply wondered how it would look, and how it would be accomplished, besides just reading bible stories and trying to convince children to blieve. I knew that the Holy Spirit, does the work of conversion in adults, but I never even thought of that same process taking place in the children. There were so many great ideas that came to mind while I listened to some of the examples about engaging the kids on a deeper level but still on appropriate age level. I realized as well to be mindful not to conduct service or bible study as if children have nothing to teach us or to contribute. Overall I am very pleased with the teachings that I recieved. I even took side notes, as the Holy Spirit was giving me further insights to help me build on the foundations that were presented here. The lessons were very clear, direct, organized, insightful and still allowed/encouraged me to think for myself. God bless you all for what you are providing. Loved this course. Great info that will help me to lead better in Children’s Ministry.

I enjoyed the course, found it refreshing. I believe children’s ministry is the future of the church, and our job is to equip the next generation which this course does. I think as Pastors we should instill the teaching of the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to children. This course was a reminder about the love Jesus has for children, and we as adults should aspire to be more like children with their faith as asked by Jesus we need to have childlike faith. Its our responsibility to ensure children do not stumble and falter, to keep them in the church by uplifting them, loving them and protecting them.

Every kid has a miracle in them, pure example is in the bible (John 6:1-9), the boy had such faith Jesus was able to feed the crowd of 5000 from five loaves and two fish. The gifts and talents of children in God’s hand can do miracles and influence those in their fields of influence, this can be anywhere from schools to households, we need to lead them and guide them to strengthen their faith in God.

This course has also taught me that we need to teach our children that they are as equally valuable as us adults to God and His kingdom, it has encourage me to be humble in faith like a child. Jesus’s heart is to protect children from Sin and Evil, we need to teach the kids more about the Holy Spirit and let them know they have the Holy Spirit within them as well and that it is not reserved for adults only but for anyone who accepts Him.

I have worked in children’s ministry and loved every moment of it, I feel by doing this course I have a better understanding of how to better the lives of children that come to the church, to better their walk and faith and to empower them more. Thank you so much for this course.
